Raman Dega

Mr R Dega MBBS, FRCS, FRCS(Orth) is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Wexham Park and Heatherwood Hospitals Trust. He trained on the Royal London Hospital Orthopaedic rotation which included working at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore. During his training he worked for two past presidents of the British Orthopaedic foot and ankle society. This influenced Mr Dega to specialize in foot and ankle surgery when he was appointed as consultant in 1998.  Mr Dega  specialises  in minimal invasive surgery for bunion problems, ankle arthroscopy, ankle replacement, ankle fusions  and sports injuries of the lower limb.

Mr Dega is a member of The British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society , The British Association of Surgeons for Knee Surgery and British Trauma Society.

Mr Dega maintains a keen interest in research and has published regular articles in medical journals.  He is a Trainer for Orthopaedics and has been on the Regional Oxford Orthopaedic Training Committee for the past seven years.  He also organises and Co- Chairs the Annual Wexham Park Foot and Ankle meeting. He is also an invited speaker at National and International meetings.

Mr Dega is married with two children and his hobbies include playing tennis, running and travelling.
